I should thank you, I was recently reading a novel that was just chock-full of briticisms and thanks to being a reader of your blog I was able to easily translate them into American English. I shutter to think of how much difficulty I would've had if I had tried reading the same book five years ago.
I meant 'shudder' not 'shutter' in the last post, my mistake.
